DIFFERENTIAL:

We have been building differentials for 22 years.  Competition friction plates are used in all limited slips and our  custom built fixture is used to test the break away torque of each limited slip we build.  For your convenience we offer 1st and 2nd Gen Differentials out right or will be happy to rebuild a differential provided by you.

We have found the stock Mazda Torsen unit suffers from lack of lubrication and the pre load spring pack tends to wear out very quickly in racing application.  We enlarge the housing windows and modify the spring pack.

 

Modify pinion for 2nd Gen

We machine a stock pinion and a pinion of the desired ratio then weld them together and regrind the bearing surface. We have never had a failure of these pinions. **This process can take up to 4-5 weeks**
